CERTIFICATE OF WARRANTY
Ten years after date of purchase with proof of such purchase. (term or warranty),
Spectrum Brands, Inc. agrees to replace the pot and lid free of charge, should
any of these parts present any defect during the term of warranty, providing
such defect has not been caused by improper use of the product.
LEGAL RESPONSIBILITY ON THE PART OF THE MANUFACTURER
1. Spectrum Brands, Inc. agrees to replace free of charge the above mentioned
parts should they become defective during the period of this warranty and
provided the defect has not been caused by improper use of the product.
2. Spectrum Brands, Inc. agrees to return to the consumer the parts covered by
this warranty.
DISCLAIMER
1. Spectrum Brands, Inc. shall not replace parts which have been damaged as a
result of improper use of the product.
2. Spectrum Brands, Inc. shall not replace the sealing ring, handles, grips or
safety valve which are considered subject to normal wear and tear
and therefore excluded from the warranty.
3. Spectrum Brands, Inc. is exempt of any responsibility under this warranty in
the event that this product has been repaired by unauthorized personnel or
when spare parts that are not genuine Black & Decker spare parts or have
been used.
HOW SHOULD THE CONSUMER PROCEED
During the term of this warranty, the consumer should return the product
together with its purchase receipt or copy of the product's certificate of warranty
to an authorized service center.
WARNING: Any failure to observe the instructions contained in the Instruction
Manual could cause damage to your pressure cooker. Under these conditions,
Spectrum Brands, Inc. is exempt from any responsibility for the
product as well as any consequence that could arise from its improper use.
Spare Parts Must be Replaced by an Authorized Service Center.
Note: An authorized service center must check whether the pressure cooker
body is in perfect working order so as to avoid any unnecessary expense.
