Intended use

The 1 687 011 537 conversion kit is intended for the
EPS 118. Use for any other purpose is not allowed.
3.2

Information on documentation

These operating instructions describe how the
maintenance unit works, and also how to maintain and
install it.

Read and understand the operating instructions
before working with the 1 687 011 537 conversion
kit.
These operating instructions are intended as a
supplement and must only be used in combination with
the existing EPS 118 operating instructions. Always
keep these instructions with the EPS 118 operating
instructions.

Equipment required

The following aids must be within easy reach during the
installation:

General tools for electricians and mechanics.

Teflon sealing tape (PTFE sealing tape) for sealing
threads

The maintenance unit (Fig. 1, item 1) removes
dirt particles and moisture (condensate) from the
compressed air.
The maintenance unit has an automatic condensate
discharge system. As soon as a certain amount of
condensate accumulates in the condensate vessel, the
float opens the valve and condensate flows through the
hose (Fig. 1, item 3) into the collecting container (Fig.
1, item 4). This ensures that condensate cannot enter
the system and damage components of the EPS 118.

The collecting container is not included in this
conversion kit.
