2 Function
The rotary movement of a motor is converted
into a linear movement by a toothed belt,
which is fixed on both sides. The toothed belt
moves the profiled tube backwards and
forwards.
3 Application
The DGEA is intended for exact positioning of masses.
The DGEA is approved for use in cantilever axis operation (preferably in a vertical
mounting position).
The DGEA is not permitted for application conditions in which vegetable and
water−soluble greases or oils can penetrate into the axis. Vegetable greases or oils
can reduce the capacity of the toothed belt.
4 Transport and storage
· Take the weight of the DGEA into account.
Depending on the design, the DGEA weighs over 30 kg.
· Ensure storage conditions as follows:
Short storage times
Cool, dry, shaded storage locations
protected from corrosion
No oils, greases or fat−solvent fumes.
For DGEA−40−...−G...−... (with right−angle gear unit):
Note
If high dynamic loads in the Z−direction
affect the DGEA, the motor should be
additionally supported.
