INSTALLATION OF THE CXS-H UNIT
The CXS-H unit must be installed inside a suspen-
ded ceiling with intake and delivery connected to
the outside via channelling or anyway in a protec-
ted place not exposed to bad weather, in a perfec-
tly horizontal position observing the technical spa-
ces to allow the passage of the air, an adequate
inclination for the condensate drain piping and the
carrying out of any maintenance.
Make allowances also for the possibility of acces-
sing the unit to inspect and clean the unit.
The CXS-H unit is complete with mounting
brackets to fix to the ceiling with adequately
sized screws with screw anchors.
In the case of channelled installation, the protec-
tive grille on delivery and the intake filters fixed
to the unit may be removed. It is the responsibi-
lity of the installation engineer to ensure that the
internal moving parts cannot be accessed and
that the filters are put back.
The CXS-H unit when functioning in heat pump
mode produces condensate, for this reason it is
fitted with a fitting to be applied to the discharge
hole (Øest. 18mm) at the end of the unit, see to
the connection with a condensate water dischar-
ge system.

INSTALLATION OF THE INDOOR UNIT

The CXS-H unit can be combined with just the
indoor units indicated by Aermec. For the instal-
lation and technical data, consult the
technical/installation manual for the indoor unit.
The refrigerant connections must be carried out
with care, in particular in every phase of the pre-
paration steps must be taken to avoid impurities
getting into the piping.
Refer to the table for the choice of the refrigerant
lines.
Proceed as follows for the refrigerant lines:
- measure the distance between the units going
over the route of the lines again and bearing in
mind the length necessary to make a "curl" if
necessary;
- cut the pipes to the necessary length plus a mar-
gin of 30-40 cm for any measurement errors,
with a pipe cutter.
- plug the end of the line and of the roll left over
with tape.
- pass the lines, the condensate discharge pipe
and the electrical cables through the hole
made in the wall, make the ends of the lines
