Plan where and how the ductwork will be installed.
Install proper-sized ductwork, elbows and roof or wall cap for the size of hood you are installing. If installing a 30", 36" or
42" width hood, use 8" round metal ductwork and if installing a 48" width hood, use 10" round metal ductwork. Use metal
foil duct tape to seal duct joints.

NSTALLATIONS
The minimum hood distance above cooktop must not be less than 24". A maximum of 30" above cooktop is
recommended for best capture of cooking impurities.
Distances over 30" are at the installer and users discretion; providing that ceiling height and flue length permit.
