Water flow rate adjustment
Once the pressure has stabilised, check that the pressure gauge's needle is
within the green zone. If it is not, actuate the by-pass V1 valve (refer to the
diagram)
If, while actuating the by-pass valve, the flow rate is still to high, actuate the heat
pump's outlet shut-off valve.

Adjustment frequency
The heat pump's flow rate is highly dependent on the water temperature and, to a
lesser extent, the air temperature.
Therefore, the flow rate should be adjusted:
• When the heat pump is initially commissioned and the water cold,
• Once during the temperature rise period,
• When the desired temperature is reached.
Once these adjustments have been made, it is normally no longer necessary to
adjust the flow rate. Simply check the pressure gauge value every so often to
ensure that everything is operating correctly and that the flow rate has not
changed.
Regularly check the cleanliness of the filter or filtering pouch to ensure that the
flow rate is sufficient (by-pass installation).
