Heat pump maintenance
All servicing personnel must have become familiar with the instruction manual
before performing any servicing or maintenance. All personnel performing
servicing or maintenance operations on this machine must be qualified in
compliance with the requirements of current directives, laws and regulations.
Before servicing, it is imperative that the apparatus be shut down and allowed to
depressurise a few minutes before pressure control equipment is installed. The
high pressure and temperature in certain parts of the refrigeration system may
cause serious burns.
The following operations should be conducted at least once per year:
• Cleaning of the heat pump's exchanger (with a soft brush or gentle spray of
water).
Never use a high-pressure washer.
• Verification of settings.
• Verification of safety devices
• Verification of the refrigerant level (when the heat pump is shut down, the
pressure gauge needle must be above 5 bar)
• Verification of electrical connections and ground connection
Use mild soap and water to clean the housing. Never use solvents.
