Fitting in a vertical or sloping position:

Working in the area of the slide during moving can cause injuries.
S Take actions to ensure that access to the slide unit is prevented during
moving.

When the product is mounted vertically, switching off power leads to uncon­
trolled lowering of the slide and can cause injury.
S Provide safety measures to prevent the effective load from sliding down
(e.g. toothed latches or movable bolts). The SLTE has no automatic locking.

Because the spindle does not have automatic locking, holding the slide unit on
the slide itself can cause insecure hold, so the slide unit may slip during trans­
portation, installation and decommissioning.
S Make sure that the slide is secured against moving when it is in the
de-energised state.
