Warning
Danger of injury from shearing, squeezing and abrading
After failure or malfunction of the control system or after interruption and res­
toration of the power supply, there may be positioning motions on the slide.
This may cause injuries.
S Make sure that the slide is secured against moving when it is in the
de-energised state.
S
Switch off the power supplies.
Note
Liquid cleaning agents such as water can damage the sliding bearing material
and the electronics.
S If necessary, clean the SLTE with a soft dry cloth.
Lubrication:
S
Grease the surfaces of the roller bearing guide which do not have a layer of
grease in accordance with the following table:

Check whether lubrication is required more often.
This may be necessary in case of:
– high thermal load or excessive accumulation of dirt
– fat solvent fluids or fumes in the vicinity.
