E. Cooking modes
The Griddler Pro lets you control the cooking temperature

cooking modes can be selected using the middle control on your
grill.
Note: Never put food on the plates while the appliance is
preheating, whatever the chosen mode (Manual, Minimum or
Maximum).
MANUAL MODE "M"
This mode activates the 2 temperature controls. It lets you choose
the temperatures for each of the plates to adjust as accurately
as possible to the type of food being cooked. It's also ideal for
cooking in the fl at position because it lets you cook diff erent
kinds of food on each plate.
• Once the plates are in place, plug the unit into an electrical
outlet then turn the middle control to "Manual". The indicator
light for the middle control will turn red and the temperature
controls will start fl ashing red.
• Turn the left and right controls to select the temperature for
each of the plates.
• Close the lid of your grill to allow it to preheat.
• When the appliance has reached the selected temperatures,
indicator lights will stop blinking and the red light will stay lit.
• Select the cooking position (see section 3C) then place the food
on the plates.
Note: When cold food is placed on the grill, the temperature of
the plates may temporarily drop below the selected temperature.
When this happens, the indicator lights for the temperature
controls will start fl ashing red. The blinking will go out when
temperature of each plate is set
• You can then change the temperature of each of the plates
during cooking if necessary.
