4. START-UP
To start the unit correctly the steps below must be followed:
1. Calculate the swimming pool's water capacity.
2. Add 5 to 6 kg of salt per m3.
3. Balance the pH between 7.2 and 7.6. In glass fibre pools this should be
between 6.8 and 7.0.
4. If the water is new, add 1 kg of CHLORINE STABILISER per 25 m3

5. MAINTENANCE
5.1. CLEANING
Chlorinators with a change of polarity have self-cleaning cells, which
means they require minimum maintenance. In exceptional cases, when
the lime content is excessively high (i.e. very hard water), the chlorinator
may be unable to eliminate all the deposits. In this case, the lime level
needs to be adjusted to normal levels and the cell has to be cleaned.ç
Process: Turn off the chlorinator, disconnect the cell's cable and remove
the cell. The dirty cell should be put in a bucket with a 20% hydrochloric
acid solution (8 parts water and 2 parts hydrochloric acid). Sufficient
solution needs to be made up to allow the cell to be completely submerged
