SUMMER
AUTUMN AND SPRING
WINTER
If your pool is used extensively outside the times set on your automatic
timer, it is advisable to adjust the timer so that your chlorination and filtration
system also operate at these times.
Note: In the case of public swimming pools (hotels, etc.) the filter needs
to operate as long as necessary to ensure the chlorine level complies with
the regulations in force.
5.2 FUNCTIONING OF THE FILTERING SYSTEM
Adequate circulation of the water is necessary to ensure efficient
distribution of the chlorine. The drains and skimmer outlets should be used
together to improve circulation.
Check and adjust the pH levels to between 7.2 and 7.4 (between
6.8 and 7.0 in the case of glass fibre pools) and to chlorine levels of
between 0.6 and 1.2 ppm. two or three times a week. Check the sand
level every two years and clean the filter every two weeks.
Turn off the unit in any of the following circumstances:
▪ The water is not circulating
▪ The filter is being washed
▪ The pool is emptied
▪ THE WATER IS FROZEN
▪ The cell is being cleaned
5.3. SPARE PARTS
KRIPSOL can supply spare parts. The use of non-original parts or
operation of the unit by unauthorised personnel may cause serious risks to
people, equipment and the installation, and nullify the warranty.
