1. Introduction
The vehicle is equipped with a system that facilitates
parking manoeuvres by detecting obstacles that
could damage the front bumper of the vehicle.
The PDC automatically activates when the engine is
switched on. The LED indicator of the PDC control
button located next to the dashboard switches on to
report PDC system activation.
The detected obstacle will be indicated by an inter-
mittent acoustic signal, that increases in frequency
until it becomes a continuous signal as the vehicle
moves closer to the obstacle.

Static zone: PDC detects obstacles in the external
protection zone and emits an intermittent acoustic
signal, even when the vehicle is at a standstill. The
frequency of the signal increases with the proximity
of the obstacle to the bumper.
Continuous signalling zone: this is the zone nearer
to the bumper. PDC detects obstacles and emits a
continuous acoustic signal, whether the vehicle is at a
standstill or moving. If the obstacle is too close to the
bumper, the system may not emit an acoustic signal.
2. Operating instructions
• Switch ON the engine.
• LED will turn on, to signal correct PDC functionality.
• Now PDC is ready to detect front obstacles.
• PDC detects front obstacles up to a maximum
vehicle speed of approximately 25 Km/h and it will
be re-enabled if the vehicle speed will be reduced
below approximately 15 Km/h.
• Press the PDC control button to disable PDC
system, the LED indicator will switch off.
• Press the PDC control button to enable PDC
