Defective solder connections.
Resolder and rewire if necessary.
Defective Reverse Switch. Replace it.

Armature is in contact with the magnets.
Replacee the motor.

Foreign material in the motor.
Clean the motor.
Bearing has failed.

Replace the Spindle Assembly.
Gears are worn or damaged.
Replace any defective gearing.

Replace damaged or worn parts.
Motor magnet is demagnetized.

Defective Brake Switch.

Bent or worn Pushrod. Replace it.
Cam is worn and not providing adequate lift.
