If you are using a power distribution bus (PDB),
continue to Step 2; otherwise, skip to Step 7.
2.
Plug the output power cord into the output
connector on the UPS rear panel.
3.
Plug the other end of the output power cord into the
PDB.
NOTE If you are using more than one UPS in a rack, verify
that the UPS output power cords are plugged into separate
PDBs.
4.
Plug the detachable UPS power cord into the input
connector on the UPS rear panel.
Secure the power cord to the rack.
NOTE If your UPS input power cord is 6-ft long, skip to
Step 6.
5.
Plug the UPS power cord into a customer-supplied
power cord.
6.
Plug the power cord into a power outlet.
7.
Connect the rack interconnect cords supplied with
IBM rack devices.
