3. Press the Rubi XP firmly in the seat before securing
the car seat belt with the lock off. Doing so
improves stability.
4. Always fully install the Rubi XP with the car seat belt,
even if there is no child in it.
5. Deactivate the airbag if using the Rubi XP on the
front passenger seat. If this is not possible, place the
passenger seat in the rearmost position.
6. Prevent the Rubi XP from becoming trapped
or weighed down by luggage, seats and/or
slamming doors.
7. Make sure that all luggage and other loose
objects are secure.
8. Cover the Rubi XP always when exposed to direct
sunlight in the car. Otherwise, the cover, metal and
plastic parts could become too hot for your child's skin.
Rubi XP and your child
1. Never leave your child unattended.
2. Secure your child always using the harness system.
3. Make sure that the headrest is adjusted to the
proper height.
4. Make sure that the harness belts are not damaged
or twisted.
5. Make sure that you can not fit more than one finger
between the harness belts and your child (1cm).

Rubi XP maintenance instructions
WARNING :
Be careful whilst unlocking the Rubi XP
harness system for cover maintenance.
1. Use the original cover only, since it is part
of the safety features of this product.
2. Clean the Rubi XP regularly with lukewarm water, soap
and a soft cloth. Do not use any lubricants or
aggressive cleaning agents on this product.
The Rubi XP has been approved in accordance with the
latest European safety standards (ECE R44/04) and is
suitable for children from 9 to 18 kg (from 9 months to
approx. 3,5 years of age).
Environment
Keep all plastic packaging materials out of reach of your
child to avoid the risk of suffocation. For environmental
reasons, when you have stopped using this product, we
ask that you dispose of the product in the proper waste
facilities in accordance with local legislation.

Warranty
Our 24 months warranty reflects our confidence in the
high quality of our design, engineering, production and
product performance. We confirm that this product was
manufactured in accordance with the current European
safety requirements and quality standards which are
applicable to this product, and that this product is free
from defects on materials and workmanship at the time of
purchase. Under the conditions mentioned herein, this
warranty may be invoked by consumers in the countries
where this product has been sold by a subsidiary of the
Dorel Group or by an authorized dealer or retailer.
Our 24 months warranty covers all manufacturing defects
in materials and workmanship when used in normal
conditions and in accordance with our user manual for a
period of 24 months from the date of the original retail
purchase by the first end-user customer. To request
repairs or spare parts under our warranty for defects in
materials and workmanship you must present your proof
of purchase, made within the 24 months preceding the
service request.
Our 24 months warranty does not apply to defects
caused by normal wear and tear, damage caused by
accidents, abusive use, negligence, fire, liquid contact or
other external cause, damage which is the consequence
of failing to comply with the user manual, damage caused
by use with another product, damage caused by service
by anyone who is not authorized by us, or if the product is
stolen or if any label or identification number has been
