8 . OPERATING TROUBLE
Make sure that the unit HAS BEEN TURNED
OFF before doing any work on it.
TROUBLE
8.1. THE CIRCULATOR IS
NOISY
8.2. THE CIRCULATOR
FAILS TO START
8.3. NO HEATING
CAUSES
a) Air in system:
b) Suction pressure too low :
c) Water flow noise:
d) Foreign bodies in
impeller:
a) Shaft jammed by fouling
after prolonged
shutdown:
b) No power supply to the
circulator:

a) The farthest radiators do
not warm up:
b) Temperature drops during
prolonged use of hot
water:
a) Bleed the circulator: loosen the plug on the back,
bleed until there are no more air bubbles, then screw
the plug back in (see Fig. 8).
b) Increase the pressure in the circuit.
c) Adjust the differential pressure as shown in Figs.
2 and 4.
Set the potentiometer to "AUTO".
d) Remove the motor and clean the impeller.
a) Free the shaft: remove the plug on the back. Use a
plain screwdriver to turn the motor shaft, then refit the
plug on the back (see Fig. 9).
b) Check the connection of the motor.
Check the installation fuses.
in c) Remove the motor and clean the impeller.
a) Adjust the differential pressure as indicated in figures 2
and 4 .
b) Set the potentiometer to E E .
