1.7.5. Installation of the flue pipe cover
The flue pipe cover is in two pieces. First fit the

back piece (It is advisable that fit this pieces before install the flue pipe). When you have
installed it, fit the flue pipe cover (frontal piece), then (if it is necessary) you can cut the flue pipe
to the height of the room but it is important not to cover the holes of ceiling crest (use for hot air
exit), fitting the two pieces.
1.7.6. Installation of the ceiling crest
Finally, fix the ceiling crest to the roof using the plugs

1.8. Acces for cleanning and security. It is possible to sweep the appliance and flue from the
inside.
2. USER'S GUIDE
ALL LOCAL, NATIONAL AND EUROPEAN STANDARDS MUST BE COMPLIED WITH WHEN
INSTALLING THE APPLIANCE.
Warning: When operating, do not touch the appliance without a protected gloved hand.
2.1. Using the appliance for the first time. For early on, and for a reasonable time, the fuel
load should not exceed 50% C.M.A. (Maximum fuel load authorised by the manufacturer).
2.2. Control of combustion.
2.2.1. Primary air slider
Is located in the ash pan. To obtain maximum efficiency set to 7%

2.2.2. Secondary air slider. Is located at the top of the door. To obtain maximum efficiency set
to 25% open.
2.2.3. Gas exit slider. It is located in connector pipe tube where the tube pipe and fireplace
join. The position of the vertical handle indicates that is open, the position of the horizontal
handle indicates that is closed. To obtain the output and efficiency as stated in the table of
Technical data, move the gas exit slider to 30º open.
ATTENTION:
The positions indicated are according to technical characteristics table, in any case
these positions must be adapt according to the flue depression and fuel quality.
2.3. Safety distances. Combustible or fragile materials (include furniture etc.), must be at least
1000 mm from any part of appliance. It is prohibited to use the space under the ash pan to
store fuel.
2.4. Type of combustion. This fireplace is designed for intermittent use with the doors closed;
the doors should only be opened when loaded fuel.
2.5. Authorised fuel by the manufacturer. Do not use the appliance as incinerator, and only
use fuels approved by the manufacturer. Use natural logs that have a moisture content
between 12 and 20 %. It is highly recommended to dry newly cut wood for 2 years. Their
maximum length might not be longer than 600 mm. The use of other types of fuel is forbidden,
as well as any liquid (used to light barbecue fires).
