5.5 Troubleshooting

WARNING!
All the following operations shall be carried out by a service mechnic.
FAULT
The shear does not work.
The shear is not powerful enough.
Excessive battery consumption
The shear gets locked, and the
display shows the indication A2
alternated by A3
The shear does not close the blades
and the display shows the indication
A2
The shear is in SAFE mode.
The shear is in STOP mode.
The battery is off.
IMPORTANT: If the above-mentioned remedies do not solve the problem, contact an Authorized Service Point

5.6 Improper uses

- Never use the tool when your balance is unstable.
- Never cut materials being other than wood.
- Never use the tool as a lever or for lifting, moving or breaking any objects.
- Never use the tool if the atmosphere is explosive or inflammable.

5.7 Tool transport

Disconnect the tool from the cable (12) before carrying it.
In case of long transports keep the tool in its packaging.

Use the tool only for the purposes described in par. "Product Description". Any other use can cause injuries and
damages.

MAINTENANCE

6.1 Routine maintenance

WARNING!
Before carrying out any maintenance operation, put the switch (11) in off position and disconnect the cable from the
battery (1).
All the maintenance operations which are not described in this manual have to be performed by a CAMPAGNOLA
S.r.l. Authorized Service Point.
Any routine maintenance operation can be carried out by the operator

CAUSE
Flat battery (1)
Switched-off battery (1)
The shear is not power supplied

Motor overheating due to cuts of very
thick branches.
Locked shear due to inner overheating
The shear has not been used for over 30'.
The trigger has been pulled for over 5'.
The shear has not been used for over 20'.
REMEDY
Recharge the battery.
Start the battery buy means of the
ON/OFF switch (11).
Check the connection between the
flexible electronic unit and the shear.
Recharge the battery (1).
Sharpen the blade (17) or replace it, if it
is excessively worn out.
Select the SERR mode and perform
the operation (see par. 5).

Wait till the temperature does not drop
about 5°C to re-start working.
Wait few seconds and then go on
pruning only thin branches for some
minutes, in order to get away from the
safety limit.
Press the trigger (15) at least 2 times in
