2 Pin assignment of the multipin plug
Each valve location has max. one valve coil. Double-sole-
noid valves therefore require two valve locations. A valve
location always occupies an address even when it is fitted
with a blanking plate or separator plate.
A valve location and therefore a coil are assigned to each
pin of the multipin plug.
Caution
The components of the valve terminal contain electros-
tatically sensitive elements. The components will be
damaged if you touch the contact surfaces of the plug
connectors and if you do not observe the regulations
for handling electrostatically sensitive components.
Long signal cables reduce the immunity to interference.
Do not exceed the maximum permitted signal cable
length of 10 m.
Recommendation:
Use multipin plugs and cables from the Festo range for
connecting the CPV-SC valve terminal.
