REMOVAL OF THE TILTING CYLINDER
REMOVAL OF THE TILTING CYLINDER
- Set the forklift truck on a horizontal surface with the handbrake engaged and the gear reverser
set to neutral.
- Set the jib horizontal
- Hold the carriage in position with lifting equipment as shown in figure A.
- Stop the engine.
- Release the hydraulic pressure by operating the levers on the distributor.
- Remove the circlips retaining the plate for the shaft in the head of the tilting cylinder (Item. 1
Fig. B).
- Expel the shaft fron the head of the cylinder (Item. 1 Fig. B)
- Remove the retaining screw from the plate for the shaft in the base of the tilting cylinder and
expel the shaft (Item. 2 Fig. C)
- Mark the position of the cylinder's supply hoses and disconnect them (Item. 3 and 4 Fig. D).
- Remove the cylinder fron its housing.
