Technical Specifications
The AEB162 simulator allows the adjustment of fuel overlap
to prevent carburation "holes" during the petrol-to-alterna-
tive fuel switchover.
In case of malfunction of the alternative fuel
electric system the simulator defaults to the OEM
injector circuitry.
General Description
The SINGLE BANK INJECTOR SIMULATOR code AEB162
open-circuits the injectors and simulates their operation when
the engine is operating on alternative fuels.
This prevents the engagement of the vehicle's CHECK ENGINE
light, as well as malfunctions caused by possible memorisation
by the OEM ECU of incorrect data due to the disabling of the
petrol injection system. This simulator can be utilised on both
SINGLE POINT and on certain MULTIPOINT injection systems.
