Adjusting the fuel overlap using hard-wired
The adjustment with hard-wired faston (located in the bottom of
the simulator) is possible only with alternative fuel electronic
management with the following specifications:
1)
Two yellow wires connected to terminals 30 and 87a of
a normally closed relay.
2)
The possibility of connecting the fuel management unit to
a software or programming tester where it is possible to
adjust the fuel overlap.
If the two conditions above are satisfied, by connecting one of
the two wires of the electronic fuel management to the simulator's
faston and the other wires to ground (see figure below), it is
possible to adjust the fuel overlap duration directly from either
the software or the tester that is connected to the electronic
alternative fuel management unit.
Please note: when using the hard-wired faston to adjust the
fuel switch-over overlap, the trimmer is automatically excluded.
