OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS WHEN HANDLING A FIREARM OR THE NIGHTSTICK
TCM WHEN MOUNTED ON A FIREARM. FAILURE TO DO SO CAN BE DANGEROUS
AND COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY, DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, OR DEATH.
Use of a fi rearm under any circumstance is inherently dangerous. SERIOUS
INJURY OR EVEN DEATH may result without proper training in the safe handling of
fi rearms. Proper training should be obtained from an accredited fi rearms safety program
conducted by a qualifi ed instructor.
Read, understand and follow all of the safety instructions that came with your fi rearm
before attaching your new TCM.
y Always assume every fi rearm is loaded and treat that fi rearm as such.
y Never point a fi rearm at anything that you are not willing to destroy.
y Never service your fi rearm or your TCM when mounted on a fi rearm without fi rst
activating the weapon's safety (if applicable), removing the magazine, opening the
action and physically and visually inspecting to make sure that no ammunition is
installed in the fi rearm.
WEAPON MOUNTED LIGHT SAFETY
y Nightstick recommends that the TCM only be activated with the non-trigger hand
(support hand) while employing a two-hand grip on the fi rearm and with the trigger
fi nger fully outside the trigger guard when applicable.
WARNING: FAILURE TO DO SO COULD RESULT IN AN ACCIDENTAL
DISCHARGE AND SERIOUS INJURY, DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, OR DEATH.
y Thoroughly practice (employing safe training conditions) with the TCM and an
unloaded fi rearm before using the weapon.
BEFORE ATTACHING, INSPECTING OR SERVICING THE TCM
y Engage the safety on the fi rearm (if applicable).
y Remove the magazine from the fi rearm (if applicable).
y Open the action and visually and physically inspect the chamber to be sure it is empty.
y Keep the barrel pointed in a safe direction at all times and never place your hand in
front of the muzzle.
WARNING: IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT SAFETY MEASURES BE EMPLOYED AT ALL
TIMES WHILE HANDLING A FIREARM.
GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS
y NOT FOR USE ABOVE HAZARDOUS LOCATIONS
y DO NOT use in explosive atmospheres, near fl ammable liquids, or where explosion
proof lamps are required.
y DO NOT use in the proximity of vehicles or equipment when there is a risk of
fl ammable liquids coming into contact with the fl ashlight.

y DO NOT expose the batteries to water or salt water, or allow the batteries to get wet.
y DO NOT store the batteries with metallic objects that may cause a short circuit.
y Immediately discontinue use of the batteries if they emit an unusual smell, feel hot,
change color, change shape or appear abnormal in any way.
y Keep out of the reach of children.
INSTALL THE BATTERY
SAFETY WARNING: ALWAYS REMOVE THE LIGHT FROM ANY HANDGUN
BEFORE CHANGING THE BATTERY.
y Unscrew and remove the bezel.
y Insert the included CR123A battery with the positive(+) end fi rst.
y Replace the bezel and tighten until fully seated. You will feel a resistence as you
tighten past the lockout detents. Continue tightening until the dot on the bezel aligns
with the ON position.
SAFE MODE: To disable the battery and prevent the light from unintended activation,
turn the bezel counter-clockwise until the mark on the bezel aligns with the OFF position.
INSTALL THE LIGHT ONTO YOUR FIREARM
The fi rearm must have a tactical rail and at least one cross rail slot. The TCM is not
designed to be used on a fi rearm that does not have a cross rail slot.
NOTE: The TCM comes pre-confi gured with the C1 modular insert. If the fi t is
not correct for your specifi c handgun model, switch to the C2, C3 or C4 insert
that works best for your fi rearm. Correct key installation allows the light to slide
close to the trigger guard with only a slight visible gap. Reducing the gap ensures
proper fi t with most holsters.
y Push inward on the head of the rail clamp tension thumbscrew to fully open the
adjustable portion of the rail clamp.
y Align the insert tab with the appropriate slot on the tactical rail of your handgun.
Rotate the rail clamp of the TCM onto your handgun's rail so that the insert is fully
seated in the slot.
y While making sure that the insert remains fully seated in the slot, tighten the rail
clamp tension thumbscrew by hand.
y Use a coin to fully tighten the tension thumbscrew.
IMPORTANT: Periodically check to insure that the Allen screws and rail clamp
tension thumbscrew remain tight.

OPERATION
To activate battery, the mark on the bezel must be aligned with the ON position. The
left and right switches operate independently.
y Turn on/off: Press down and release.
y Momentary on: Press and hold for .5 seconds or longer, release to turn off.
y Strobe (XLS Model): Press twice and hold on second press, release to turn off.
STROBE WARNING (XLS Models)
Exposure to strobing lights may cause dizziness, disorientation, and nausea. A very
small percentage of people suffer from photosensitive epilepsy and may experience
seizures or blackouts triggered by strobing lights. For more information from the

. Anyone who has had symptoms linked to this condition should consult a
doctor before using this product.
WARRANTY
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
Bayco Products, Inc. warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship
and materials for the original purchaser's lifetime. The Limited Lifetime Warranty includes
the LEDs, housing and lenses. Rechargeable batteries, chargers, switches, electronics
and included accessories are warranted for a period of two years with proof of purchase.
Normal wear and failures which are caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, faulty installation
and lightning damage are excluded.
We will repair or replace this product should we determine it to be defective. This
is the only warranty, expressed or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or
fi tness for a particular purpose.
