10.8 Performing a color measurement

Open the menu for color measurements using . Select the desired color measure-
→
ment. Enter the required information and confirm with .
Hold the intake hose in the zero solution and press the icon. The zero solution is pumped
into the flow cuvette and the zero measurement is taken automatically after the settling time
has expired. The time remaining until the measurement will be taken is shown in the display.
You can cancel the measurement by pressing .
Hold the intake hose in the sample solution to be analyzed and press the icon. The
sample solution is pumped into the flow cuvette and the sample measurement is taken
automatically after the settling time has expired. The time remaining until the measurement
will be taken is shown in the display. You can cancel the measurement by pressing .
The flow cuvette is rinsed using distilled water or the next sample solution. The rinsing oper-
ation is initiated in the corresponding measurement menu by pressing . After the color
measurement has been taken, the result is shown in the result window.
You can enter various information on the sample information using the icons below the
Result window. The information entered is saved when you exit the menu or when the next
measurement is taken. The color measurement can be edited using the color analysis and

the icon (see the NANOCOLOR VIS II and / II spectrophotometer manual).
