Problem
Pump has followingproblems:
failure to producepressure,
erratic pressure, chattering, loss
of pressure, low water volume.
Detergentfails to mix with spray.
Engine runs good at no-load hut
"hogs" when load is added.
Engine will not start; or starts and
runsrough.
C_use
1. HydroFoam
TM
launcher installed.
2. Water inlet is blocked.
3. Inadequate water supply.
4. Inlet hose is kinked or leaking.
5. Clogged inlet hose strainer.
6. Water supply is over IO0°F.
7. High pressure hose is blocked or
leaks.
8. Gun leaks.
9. Nozzleis obstructed.
10. Pump is faulty.
1. Detergent shut-off valve is in the
"Off" position.
2. In-line filter is dirty.
3. High pressure nozzle installed.
Engine speed is too slow.
1. Dirty air cleaner.
2. Out of gasoline.
3. Stale gasoline.
4. Spark plug wire not connected to
spark plug.
5. Bad spark plug.
6. Water in gasoline.
7. Overchoking.
8. Excessively rich fuel mixture.
Correction
1. Replace HydroFoam
TM
launcher with high
pressure nozzle.
2. Clearinlet.
3. Provide adequatewater flow.
4. Straighten inlet hose, patch leak.
5. Checkand clean inlet hose strainer.
6. Provide cooler water supply.
7. Clearblocks in high pressure hose or
replace hose.
8. Replacegun.
9. Cleannozzle.
10. Contact Sears service facility.
1. Rotate detergent shut-off valve to "On"
position.
2. See "CheckIn-Line Filter".
3. Replace nozzlewith HydroFoam
TM
launcher.
Move throttle control to FASTposition. If
engine still "bogs down", contact Sears ser-
vice facility.
1. Cleanor replace air cleaner.
2. Fill fuel tank.
3. Drain gas tank; fill with fresh fuel.
4. Connectwire to spark plug.
5. Replacespark plug.
6. Drain gas tank; fill with fresh fuel.
7. Open choke fully and crank engine.
8. Contact Sears service facility.
Engineshuts down during Out of gasoline. Fill fuel tank.
