Taking care of your device
Recommended storage conditions: in its storage box at room
temperature, away from direct heat and humidity. Do not leave it
outside of the box within reach of pets or children.
Over time, the splints might change colour depending on several
parameters such as the acidity of your saliva and how well you take
care of your device; it will not affect the efficacy of your device.
After each time you use the device, it is recommended that you:
• Remove the device from your mouth and rinse in lukewarm water.
• Clean the device with a soft clean toothbrush, making sure to brush
the inside surface of the splints.
• Rinse well with drinking quality water.

• Dry it with a new tissue and place it back in the storage box.
Twice a week you should clean your Narval CC™ more thoroughly using
the sonic cleaner and an effervescent antibacterial tablet designed for
orthodontic appliances:
• Fill the tub halfway with lukewarm water.
• Place the tablet and the device in the water and ensure that it is
completely submerged.
• Switch the cleaner to the on-position and leave for 15 minutes.
• Turn off the sonic cleaner and remove device from the solution.
• Rinse both the device and the tub well with drinking quality water.
• Dry the device with a new tissue and place it back in the storage
box.
Caution:
Never use chlorine based products, bleach or acetic acid.
Never put the device in water warmer than 45°C / 113 °F .
Never use toothpaste or mouthwash to clean your device,
as they may be too abrasive.
