Warnings
• To ensure proper oral hygiene, it is imperative to brush your teeth
before wearing the device
• This device should be worn only during sleep
• Use of the device may cause:
- Tooth movement or changes in dental occlusion
- Gingival or dental soreness
- Pain or soreness to the temporomandibular joint
- Obstruction of oral breathing
- Excessive salivation
• Allergic and inflammatory reactions in the mouth and cases of pain in
the temporomandibular joint have been reported. Discontinue using
your Narval CC™ if you experience any adverse reaction to the use of

• It is advisable to check the integrity of your device on a regular basis.
If you notice any signs of damage or cracking discontinue use and
consult your dentist
• Using the Narval CC™ may cause tooth, gum or jaw soreness or
aggravate an existing dental condition. If symptoms persist, consult
your physician or dentist
• On very rare occasions, the seal on fixed prosthetics (crown,
bridge...) may become loose. In such event it is imperative to consult
your dental clinician to adjust the splint and / or to fix the prosthetics
more firmly
• You may experience some tooth pain upon awakening when using
this device. The pain usually disappears after a few minutes.
If it persists for more than an hour, seek advice from your dental
clinician.
• Regular dental review is recommended
