LADDER CONFIGURATIONS
90 DEGREE
PROPER SET-UP AND HEIGHT ADJUSTMENTS
The ladder must only be used in this position when one side of the ladder is
one rung shorter than the other side. Only use ladder against a solid wall.
From the storage position (see Figure 19), unlock both adjustable hinges to
disengage the locks as indicated in Figure 1. Pull the two sections of the ladder
apart until both hinges snap into place and securely lock (see Figure 20).
To increase the height of the ladder, unlock the rail locks on one side of the
ladder and tip the ladder to its side to allow the outer section to drop to your
desired height (see Figure 21). When you are at your desired height, lock the
rail locks.
Unlock the rails locks on the first side of the ladder and tip the ladder to its
side to allow the outer section of the ladder to drop so the height is one rung
shorter than the first side. Lock rail locks.
Visually make sure the rail locks are in the locked position and no
red is showing.
The ladder is properly aligned when one side of the ladder is one rung shorter
than the other. (see Figure 22)
To return the ladder back to its lowest position, reverse the process above.
