ISO DIN radio provision with pocket
1. Attach the (8) PC-7871B panel clips to the
99-7809 radio trim panel.
2. Attach (1) #8 speed clip provided to each
radio bracket as shown. (Figure A)
Note: T his will be the lower mounting point
where the factory 5/16" screws were removed.
3. Attach the radio brackets to the radio trim
panel using (4) #8 x 3/8" Phillips screws
provided. (Figure B)
4. Mount the pocket to the bracket/panel
assembly with (4) #8 x 3/8" Phillips
screws provided. (Figure C)
5. Remove the metal "DIN" sleeve and
trim ring from the aftermarket radio.
6. Slide the radio into the assembly and
secure with screws supplied with the
radio. (Figure C)
7. Clip the a/c vents removed in step #7 of
the disassembly into the radio trim panel.

8. Locate the factory wiring harness and
antenna plug in the dash and make all
necessary connections to the radio. Metra
recommends using the proper mating
adapters from Metra and/or AXXESS.
9. Plug in and clip the Metra climate control
assembly into the dash. (Figure D)
10. Proceed to the Wiring Instruction
section of this manual before mounting
the radio assembly into the dash and
completing the dash assembly.
11. After the Metra climate controls are
programmed and tested, mount the
new radio assembly into the dash,
secure the lower radio bracket mounting
points with (2) #10 x 3/4" Phillips screws
provided, and reassemble the dash in
reverse order of disassembly.

5
