Fitting pneumatic components
Warning
The DSMI-... will be damaged if it is operated in open-loop mode without an
SPC... and without additional external one-way flow control valves, even if it is
pressurized just once for test purposes.
S Take into account the fact that the DSMI-... has no flow control of the pneu-
matic connections.
The DSMI-... may be operated without external one-way flow control valves
only in closed-loop mode in conjunction with an SPC.... .

S When fitting, take into account the instructions in the manuals for the SPC... .
The following applies in all cases:

Use one-way flow control valves of type GRLA-... or GRLZ-... for setting the
swivel speed.
These should be screwed directly into the compressed air connections. The
following correlation exists between the speed and the flow control method:
Restricted air connection

Connect the tubing of the DSMI-... as per
Fig. 27.
With eccentric masses:

Check to see if controlled non-return
valves of type HGL-... or a compressed air
compensation reservoir of type VZS-... are
necessary.
In this way, you can avoid the mass sliding down if there is a sudden drop in
pressure.
