6.1.7 FIRMWARE
The DATA-MATE software version is displayed and can be updated using the USB port. DATA-MATE will retrieve software called PM_V#_##.hex in the
USB flash drive. V# identifies the first hardware release number. The ## extension is a number in ascending order that identifies the firmware release
of Braglia Srl, available in the www.braglia.it web site.
If the USB flash drive contains various files with a .hex extension (e.g. PM_V1_00.hex and PM_V1_01.hex), DATA-MATE will only use the most recent
version (in this case PM_V1_01.hex).
6.2 – SENSOR MENU
6.2.1 PRESSURE

The pressure sensor connected to DATA-MATE is powered by 12 VDC and has a 4-20 mA output signal. Some parameters can be set up to customise
operation of the instrument:
- Reading frequency: by means of this parameter, you can establish the time DATA-MATE takes to update the pressure readout. The parameter is in
milliseconds and can range from a minimum of 100 ms to a maximum of 1000 ms. The default setting is 400 ms;
- Sensitivity: by increasing this parameter, given as a %, you reduce the number of sampling operations used to calculate average pressure. By set-
ting 100%, you will calculate the average value out of the last 15 recorded (50 Hz sampling frequency, 0.3 s delay). By setting 1%, you will calculate
the average value of the last 75 recorded (1.5 s delay). The default setting is 50%;
- Full scale: set the sensor's full scale value. The default setting is 60 bar;
- Alarms: it is also possible to establish the minimum and maximum pressure thresholds. The parameter will start flashing and the acoustic alarm will
be activated when pressure rises above or drops below the thresholds. In display mode, you can deactivate the acoustic alarm by pressing
parameter in alarm condition will keep flashing until the corresponding value is within the permissible range;
- Resetting: this should be performed with the sprayer halted and depressurised. It is performed when there are differences between the pressure of
the system and the pressure displayed by DATA-MATE. After opening the menu, confirm with
200.1012.15
