Preparation for operation
IKAR Tripods
Setup the tripod vertically () .
Fold the legs outwards. To do this push in the locking pin ( + ). Swing the
leg out until it latches in audibly. Repeat with the other 2 legs. Take care that
the tripod is vertical. To adjust the height of the individual extendable legs,
fi rst release the socket pin with the thumb () and pull it out. Adjust the leg to
the desired length and secure it with the socket pin. Repeat with the other 2
legs. If the ground is uneven, the legs can be adjusted to different lengths to
compensate. Then align and position the tripod. Take care that it is stable. To
dismount the tripod, follow the steps in reverse order.

For an optimum adjustment to the conditions
and the ground, the tripod has foldable rubber
moulded feet. The horizontal position () is
recommended for hard and stable grounds.
The vertical position is recommended for softer
grounds (). It keeps the tripod from sliding.
