Connection and putting into operation
Please check the power supply before connecting the unit and before the first run. Compare the values
with the data given on the type plate (left side, lower front).
Connect the device to a power supply of the specified ratings.
Set the gas supply pressure of the gas bottle to 2.0 bar above ambient pressure. Connect the gas bottle at
the rear of the unit to the corresponding socket. Connection for hose DN 6. Use CO gas with a technical
grade of 99.5 percent.
The gas connections must be established by qualified personnel who are trained in
handling
CO gas
and familiar with the required safety measures.
2
relevant regulations for handling gas cylinders and
!
Do NOT exceed the indicated output pressure of 2.5 bar above the ambient
pressure. Before connection, check the output pressure at the pressure reducer of
the gas supply.
If several units with different maximum values of gas admission pressure are connected to a common
supply net, use pressure reducers for those units with a lower maximum gas admission pressure.
Plug in the CO sensor without turning into the intended connection bushing in the upper part of the rear of
2
the inner chamber. Fill the water pan with distilled, sterilized water.
