ETTING DATE AND TIME
The date and time settings of the Reader set at manufacture and are stored as long as the batteries
power the Reader. It is important to keep the settings correct because the date and time help to
distinguish between the results stored in the internal memory. The settings are lost if the Reader is not
powered for 1 minute or longer. In this case, it is necessary to set the date and time.
The easiest way to set the date and time is to connect the Reader to a PC with the USB
cable when the AMA RUT Expert software is running (please follow the instructions on
the software installation on page 14). The correct settings will be applied automatically
as soon as the connection is established.
If the software is not available, we recommend setting the date and time when the Reader is powered
from the mains via the USB cable and the adapter. When powered from the mains, the Reader does
not shut down automatically and more time for the setting is available.
If neither the software nor the cable is available, please do the following within 2 minutes:
1. Bring the device to position "ON" by pressing the button. Press the button longer than 1 second,
but no longer than 5 seconds, and then immediately one more time. Year, date and time will appear
on the display.
Make sure the display doesn't show "TEST". In this case, press the button few times until
the display shows "ON" and try again.
