ERFORMING THE PROCEDURE
For quality control purposes, the correct reading of the device must be checked through the quality
check procedure (QC). The Control samples are being read and the results are being compared to the
nominal values that are stored in the special QC configuration file from the provided CD.
The procedure can run at any time as a facultative quality control measure, but when the number of
the tests performed comes to 1000, the quality check becomes mandatory. The Reader is locked, and
as soon as the procedure has been successfully passed, the counter clears to zero and another 1000
tests can be performed.
Before the first quality check it is necessary to specify the location of the QC configuration file. Copy
the QC configuration.bin file from the provided CD to the hardware of your PC. In the menu bar on top
of the software window click on Menu and Select QC file, a window will pop up where you have to
state the location of the QC configuration.bin file on the hardware.
To perform the quality check, make sure the Reader is
connected and the software is running as described in
Installing the software on page 14 and do the following:
1. Press the Quality Check button. A pop-up window will
appear, saying "Insert the Control sample into the AMA
RUT Reader".
2. Insert the Control sample into the slot on the bottom
side of the Reader as far as it can go and press the OK
button in the pop-up window.
