4. Safety instructions
Attention! Please read these notes carefully before the connection and commission-
ing of the device. The operational safety and functioning of the device can only be
ensured if both the general safety and accident prevention regulations as specified
by the legislator and the safety instructions in the instructions for use are observed.
1. The device must only be used in
accordance with the present instruc-
tions for use and by technically
instructed personnel. We do not
assume any liability for damages
which result from improper use and/
or incorrect operation.
2. The voltage specified on the name-
plate must match the voltage of the
power source.
3. The power supply of the Vacfo-
mat V9 should only be established by
means of an especially secured power
supply line.
4. The device may only be connected
to a socket with a protective conductor.
5. The device must be placed on a
stable and level surface which is suf-
ficiently stable for a weight of 50 kg.
6. To prevent the ingress of water
(e.g. splash water) into the device,
the device should be installed in a
dry environment.
7. Do not keep any highly inflamma-
ble substances within the immediate
vicinity of the device.

8. Authorised operators: The operator
of the machine must make the instruc-
tions for use accessible to the operator
and must also make sure that s/he has
read and understood them. Only then
may the operator put the device into
operation.
9. Please check the device to ensure its
proper condition and operating safety
before each operation. If its condition
is not flawless, the device must not be
used anymore and must be labelled
accordingly.
10. Avoid direct eye contact with the
heating tubes. Infrared beams may
cause permanent eye damage!
11. Signs and stickers must always be
kept in an easy-to-read condition and
must not be removed.
12. The three (3) heating elements of
the device reach high temperatures
during the heating phase and, there-
fore, must not be touched, not even
for a short time!
13. If the device is used continuously,
