The AS−Interface valve module type ASI−EVA−2E2A−M12−
8POL−Z has been designed exclusively for controlling suit
able valve−drive combinations from Festo (see Technical
specifications" and Pin assignment"), as e.g. the valve−
cylinder combination type DNCV−..., and is only suitable for
use in bus systems in accordance with the AS−Interface
specifications.
AS−Interface bus systems and valve modules may only be
installed by personnel especially trained for this purpose.
Detailed information on the design and how to address
your bus system can be found in the manual for your
AS−Interface master.
Warning
Functional damage
S Switch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plugs.
S Do not disconnect the power supplies under load.
S Switch on the power supply only if the DIL switch is
positioned at a permitted setting. Only the DIL switch
settings listed under section 3.6 are permitted.
S Switch off the power supply before you modify the
DIL switch settings.
Please note
Commission only an AS−Interface valve module which
has been fitted and wired completely.
