3.4 Connecting the valve−drive combination
Use only cables of type KM12−8GD8GS−... for connecting
valve−drive combinations.
Fasten the plug with the aid of the union nuts.
Please note
The inputs have been designed in accordance with
IEC1131−2 type 02.
The inputs are resistant to short circuits. If a short
circuit occurs, the slave will be switched off. The
AS−Interface master regards this slave as missing.
When the short circuit is eliminated, the slave indi
cates immediately that it is capable of functioning.

the valve−drive combination:
1: 24 V (sensor supply)
2: Input In−1
3: Input In−2
4: 0 V (sensor supply)
5: Output Out−1
6: Output Out−2
7: Diagnostic input
8: 0 V (outputs)
The AS−Interface has an integrated watchdog function
which resets the outputs if there is a bus communication
failure.
