4.5 Hexadecimal Dump Printing

Prin t received data in hexad ecimal. If prob lems such as mi ssing or duplicated
data occur, this function allows you to check whether or not the printer is
receivin g data correctly.
How to do hexadecima l dump print ing
1. Load paper.
2. While the pap er cover is open, press and hold the FEED button while turning the
power on, and then close the paper cover.
3. The printer prin ts "HE X dump print mo de" follow ed by the received data printed in
hexadecimal numbers and some characters.
How to stop hexadecima l dump pri nting
Do one of the following to stop pri nting.
Press the FEED button three times in a row
Turn off the power
Receive a reset command from an interface
CAUTION
The printer prints "." if there is no character correspon din g to the data.

If print data does not cover a comple te line, press the FEED button to advan ce the
paper.
