B: Placing external OBU into the bracket
1. Place the external OBU into the bracket by
inserting it from the right-hand side, as shown
in fi gure (B1).
2. The unit has been properly mounted, if it does
not protrude beyond the edges of the bracket
(see arrows in the fi gure) (B2).
3. If the OBU needs to be removed from the
bracket, lift the release clip on the right-hand
side of the bracket and slide the unit out by
applying pressure on its left-hand side, as
shown in fi gure (B3).
C: Mounting external OBU
1. The bracket with the external OBU must be
mounted in the upper part of the windscreen.
2. Use one of the following positions (C1): top left,
top middle, top right.
3. The area where the external OBU will be
mounted, should be cleaned with the enclosed
cleaning wipe (A4) and degreased with the
enclosed degreasing wipe (A5). The bracket
with the external OBU must be mounted only
after the degreasing agent has dried off
completely.
