D: Mounting internal OBU:
Attention: The area where the internal OBU will
be mounted, should be cleaned using the
enclosed cleaning wipe A4 and degreased
using the enclosed degreasing wipe A5.
Internal OBU must be mounted only after the
degreasing agent has dried off completely.
1. Attach the adhesive tape to the back of the
internal OBU and make sure it stays within the
marked borders (D1).
Warning: Do not cover the two light pipes
(D2) with the tape!
2. Remove the protective foil from the back side
of the adhesive tape.
3. Activate the OBU by pressing the pushbutton
on the OBU twice, which will start the alignment
procedure with the external part.
4. Move the internal OBU part towards the
external OBU part. The OBUs are aligned and
can communicate, when the internal OBU
beeps regularly and all lights blink green. Stick
the internal part to the windscreen, when you
hear regular beeps and you can see the lights
(2, 3, 4, X) blinking green (D3).
5. The alignment process was fi nished
successfully, when the OBU was fi xed to the
windscreen and only the X symbol lights up
green (D4), and you hear a long beep. In case
of uncertainty repeat the alignment process.
