VI. Fully automatic operation procedures and precautions
1. Turn on the air outlet switch to start the compressor under no load.
2. Connect the power supply and start the motor.
3. For belt-driven air compressor, check if its direction of rotation is as the same as the direction of the indicating arrow. If not, exchange any
two of the three power cables for the three-phase motor.
4. After startup, please idle it for 5-8min, and check the air compressor for abnormalities.
5. Turn off the air outlet switch to raise the pressure and operate normally.
6. Listen for any abnormal sound or noise, and check for air leakage at the joint between the pressure gauge and each pipe due to handling,
collision, and looseness.
7. When the pressure reaches the set value (for example: 8kg/cm2), the pressure switch will automatically cut off the power supply (The
saturation relief valve will take a few seconds to release the air pressure inside the copper exhaust pipe. This is a normal phenomenon
instead of air leakage, in order to make the motor run again, reduce the load and facilitate startup). When the pressure drops below the
differential pressure (for example: 6kg/cm2), the pressure switch will automatically turn on the power supply and the motor will run again.
The above operations will be repeated in cycles.
8. At the end of each shift, turn off the power supply and release the air in the air reservoir to 0.2mpa. Loose the water drain valve to
discharge the air and water in the air tank.
9. When the compressor is in power failure during operation, be sure to cut off the power supply to ensure safety.
VII. Semi-automatic operation procedures and precautions
4. After startup, please idle it for 5-8min.
5. Turn off the air outlet switch to raise the pressure and operate normally.
6. Listen for any abnormal sound or noise, and check for air leakage at the joint between the pressure gauge and each pipe due to handling,
collision, and looseness.
7. When the pressure reaches the set value (for example: 8kg/cm2), the relief valve will be actuated to release the pressure through the
relief elbow and push the overflow piston. At this time, the compressed air is freely in and out through the intake valve, and the motor load is
reduced to no load. (At this time, the intake filter will release the air and the compressor will be in a no-load state.) When the pressure drops
below the differential pressure (for example: 6kg/cm2), the relief valve will be actuated again to end air relief, the overflow piston returns to
the fixed position, the filter sucks air, and the compressor is in a loaded state. The above operations will be repeated in cycles.
8. At the end of each shift, turn off the power supply and release the air in the air reservoir to 0.2mpa. Loose the water drain valve to
discharge the air and water in the air tank.
9. Since the cylinder head and copper tube of the air compressor are very hot due to air compression, please do not touch them.
10. When the compressor is in power failure during operation, be sure to cut off the power supply to ensure safety.
VIII. Adjustment of air compressor parts
A. Pressure adjustment of fully automatic pressure switch: (refer to Fig. A)
1. Adjustment of set pressure:
Turn the pressure adjustment screw (1) to the right to increase the set pressure, or to the left to decrease it.
