Function
• This model is designed for operation with H0 2-rail DC systems
(track according to NEM standards) with conventional DC
power packs.
• This locomotive comes equipped with a Trix connector for digital
operation and can have the Trix 66839 or 66849 (in development *)
locomotive decoder installed in it.
• Headlights change over with the direction of travel and vary in
brightness according to the voltage present in the track.
• Functions in conjunction with the 66849 decoder
– F1 lights at Cab 1 off
– F2 lights at Cab 2 off
– F1 + F2 Double A
The necessary maintenance that will comes due with normal operation
is described below. Please see your authorized Trix dealer for repairs
or spare parts.

Safety Information
• Please make note of the safety information in the instructions for
your operating system.
• Trix motor vehicles must not be operated on digital systems without
an in-built engine decoder (Motor can be damaged!).
• The feeder track must be equipped to prevent interference with
radio and television reception, when the locomotive is to be run in
conventional operation. The 611 655 interference suppression set is
to be used for this purpose.
The interference suppression set is not suitable for digital
operation.
No warranty or damage claims shall be accepted in those cases where parts
neither manufactured nor approved by Trix have been installed in Trix products or
where Trix products have been converted in such a way that the non-Trix parts or
the conversion were causal to the defects and / or damage arising. The burden
of presenting evidence and the burden of proof thereof, that the installation of
non-Trix parts or the conversion in or of Trix products was not causal to the defects
and / or damage arising, is borne by the person and/or company responsible for the
installation and / or conversion, or by the customer.
