Green: In continuous rotation, when the preset torque is reached, the micromotor will turn
automatically in reverse direction (counterclockwise) until the file no longer encounters
resistance, at which point it will automatically revert to forwards rotation (clockwise).
Red: In continuous rotation, the micromotor will turn automatically in reverse direction
(counterclockwise) with no torque control.
OFF: In continuous rotation, when the preset torque is reached, the micromotor will stop
automatically. By pressing the foot pedal again, the motor will start in reverse direction
(counterclockwise) until the file no longer encounters resistance, at which point it will
automatically revert to forwards rotation (clockwise).
Acoustic warning signals are given when:
! Torque exceeds approx. 75% of preset value.
! In reverse rotation of the micromotor.
ASR function can be modified for each file, but the setting will return to the default setting when
the file used changes.

Selecting a File System
The following chapters might also be helpful when selecting a file system: description of
keypad (see chapter 6.4.1) and display (see chapter 6.4.2)
To choose a different file system, the file system field ("System") in the lower row must be
active (indicated by an arrow). If "System" is not active, move the arrow to the "System" field by
pressing the
!
and
"
keys until it is active.
By pressing the + and – keys, you can scroll through all systems until the display selects the
desired system. It is not necessary to confirm the selection. The file system shown in the
display is the selected system. The display then reads, for example:
