18. Safety protection equipment must be used when working in close
proximity to exposed hazardous live conductors according to local and
national regulations.
19. When connecting a dangerous voltage to an input terminal, please note
that this voltage may appear on all other terminals.
20. CAT III: Primary circuit of large equipment (fixed equipment) directly
connected to the switchboard and electrical circuit between the switchboard
and the socket outlet. Do not use this meter for measurements that fall
within CAT IV.
Warning
To avoid damage to the meter or equipment, please observe the
following requirements:
1. Before measuring resistance, continuity, diode or capacitance,
disconnect the power to the circuit to be measured and fully
discharge all capacitors.
2. Use the correct terminals, functions and ranges.
3. Before measuring the current, check that the fuse is intact.
Disconnect the power to the circuit to be measured before connecting
the meter.
4. Remove the test probes from the measured circuit before rotating
the function/position switch to change the function.
