Functionality
Live Well
– To fill live well open ball valve or seacock and activa-
te the pump. Once the live well is filled the pump can
run continuously for a continuous exchange of water or
can be operated on a cycle timer. Thru-bottom moun-
ted pumps with high speed pickups should provide a
continuous water flow to the live well at all time during
the boats operation. Thru-transom mounted pumps
will provide water flow only when the boat is at idle or
under a slow troll.
Wash down
– To operate wash down pump it is only necessary
to make sure the ball valve is open and that the wash
down pump is turned on. It is not necessary to have the
Twin Port pump running to use the wash down pump.
Live well/Wash Down pump can be operated simul-
taneously. For safety concerns keep the ball valve or
seacock closed while not in use.
Trouble Shooting
• Twin Port pump does not turn on.
Check wiring connections for power and proper groun-
ding. Check for proper fuse size (5 amps).
• Twin Port pump turns on but does not pump.
Open ball valve or seacock. Open valve at live well.
Check to make sure pump is mounted below water
line. Remove motor cartridge and check impeller for
damage. Inspect plumbing for kinks, dips or loops.
