TORQUE - ELECTRONIC TORQUE REGULATOR
The torque is regulated by rotating the Trimmer TORQUE, varying the output voltage of
motor ends,(when rotated clockwise, more torque Is transmitted to the motor).
Such torque is automatically included 3 seconds after the start of every operating cycle.
This allows the motor to have the maximum pickup when it starts.
NOTE: IN CASE THE ABOVE TRIMMER IS SET FOLLOWING THE PROGRAMMING
PROCEDURE, THE SLOWING STROKE STARTING POINT CAN CHANGE
(ANTICIPATING OR DELAYING THE SET VALUE), THEREFORE UPON A NEW
TRIMMER SETTING, A NEW TIME ADJUSTMENT IS RECOMMENDED.
LED SIGNALS
DL1 - (Red) - Programming operated
DL2 - (Green) - Radio programming activated (models CRX only)
DL3 - (Red) - Door on closure
DL4 - (Green) - Door on opening
DL5 - (Red) - Photocells contact (NC)
C - CHECKING THE ROTATION DIRECTION OF THE MOTOR
This control is carried out to facilitate the installation of the system or any possible future
control.
WITH FENCE LOWERED AND LOWER STROKE END SWITCH CORRECTLY SET
1 - Put DIP1 in the ON mode => The LED DL1 starts blinking;
CAUTION: in case the pushbutton PROG is not operated within 1 min, the LED turns off,
the system maintains the present configuration, see para. "D-MANNED
POSITION SETTING".
2 - Depress and maintain the pushbutton PROG (motion is performed in manned
position setting, open-stop-close-stop-open-etc.) the fence will open (DL4 green lit).
a - In case the fence closes instead of opening (DL3 RED LIT) release immediately the
pushbutton PROG and set the close stroke end switch.
b - In case the fence closes instead of opening (DL4 GREEN LIT) exchange the
connection of motor wires V and W on the electrical unit, or connection blocks 5 and 6
on the stroke end unit JOLLY.
3 - Set the opening stroke end switch. Ensure the end stroke system stops the motor on
completion of opening stroke.
4 - After 3 sec of opening or close travel, the electronic torque increase gets in operation.
Set the electronic torque through the trimmer TORQUE.
5 - On completion of checks and setting of trimmer, set the DIP1 on OFF. The LED DL1
turns off (in case still lit) to indicate the end of control phase.
NOTE: During the above check the photocells are operative and a triggering would entail
stopping the motion, no matter if the pushbutton PROG is still depressed. To
enable again the operation release the pushbutton PROG, ensure the photocells
are not triggered by any obstacle, and then depress the pushbutton PROG.
D - MANNED POSITION OPERATION
In such mode the remote control will not operate.
Set DIP1 on ON
the LED DL1 starts flashing. Flashing will end within 1 minute, unless
any operation is initiated.
To operate the fence depress and maintain the pushbutton "K Button"
In case the pushbutton is released the fence stops. Further depressing the pushbutton will
command motion of the fence in the opposite direction.
During operation the safety circuits are activated (if connected) and will stop the motion
regardless of condition of pushbutton "K Button".
To enable again the operation release the pushbutton "K Button", ensure the photocells
are not triggered and depress the pushbutton.
E - TIME SETTING
Setting must be performed with the fence fully closed, with STROKE END
SWITCHES SET.
1 - Put DIP 2 in the ON mode => the LED DL1 emits short blinkings.
2 - Depress the pushbutton PROG => the fence opens
3 - After 2 seconds from the fence reaches the full open position, depress the
pushbutton PROG to set the operation time of the fence.
4 - Wait as long as you want the gate to remain open before the automatin closing
(excluded by DIP3 OFF).
5 - Push the button PROG. to command the gate closing, also the pause time count
before the automatic closing stops - max. 5 minutes (the LED DL1 stops flashing). On
triggering of close stoke end switch, the fence stops.
6 - AT THE END OF THE PROGRAMMING PUT THE DIP 2 BACK ON OFF.
DURING THE PROGRAMMING THE SAFETIES ARE ACTIVE AND THEIR
INTERVENTION STOPS THE PROGRAMMING (THE LED DL1 WHICH WAS
LIGHTENING NOW HAS A COSTANT LIGHT ).
TO REPEAT THE PROGRAMMING SET THE DIP 2 ON OFF), CLOSE THE DOOR
FOLLOWING THE PROCEDURE "C - CHECKING THE ROTATION DIRECTION OF
THE MOTOR" AND REPEAT THE PROGRAMMING DESCRIBED ABOVE.
F - RADIO CODE LEARNING PROCEDURE (CRX MODELS ONLY)
The position of the door does not affetc the code memorisation.
1 - Set DIP 1 - ON and subsequently DIP 2 - ON => DL1 programming led will lighten for
10 seconds, witch is the time required for they code's programming.
2 - Following code setting through DIPs inside the remote control, repress the remote
control button (normally the A channel) within the 10 set seconds. If the remote control
is correctly matched, the DL2 green led flashes shortly.
3 - The codes' programming time is automatically renewed to read in the following remote control.
4 - To end the programming wait 10 seconds, or press for a while the PROG. button =>
DL1 programming led will stop lightening.
5 - Re-set DIP 1 - OFF and DIP 2 - OFF.
RADIO CODES CANCELLATION PROCEDURE
The position of the door does not affetc the code memorisation.
1 - Set DIP 1 - ON and subsequently DIP2 - ON => DL1 programming led will lighten with
a frequency of 1 sec. ON and 1 sec. OFF for 10 seconds.
2 - During the 10 seconds => press and keep pressed the PROG. Button for 6 seconds =>
