CPV Direct provides automatic baud rate detection for all other
protocols.

Addressing
Addressing for the CP system with fieldbus direct connection
varies with the protocol. In general:
1. A CPV valve terminal always uses 16 output addresses. A
CP valve location uses two addresses:
– lower address = pilot solenoid 14
– upper address = pilot solenoid 12.
2. CP valve terminals, electronic output or input modules on
the expansion string use 16 output or input addresses each.
