Lubrication and Periodic Service
Service Inspections
1. Before seasonal startup and at one week intervals thereafter, inspect rubber
boots on drive axle (front axle) for splits and tears in the rubber. Prolonged
operations with damaged rubber boots will cause premature failure of axle
components. Always keep two spare boots in stock for ready replacement.
2. Inspect steering and other chassis components for loose fastenings, bolts, and
screws.
3. Check all hoses for cracks, leaks, and chafing.
4. Check brake fluid level. (Carefully clean fluid reservoir filler cap and surrounding
area before removing cap.)
